Day 1

Arrival Nairobi, Transfer Nairobi Serena Hotel

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the luxurious Nairobi Serena Hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to rest after your flight.

Day 2

Nairobi City Tour

After breakfast, embark on a city excursion starting with the Giraffe Centre, where you can hand-feed endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. Next, visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, home to rescued baby elephants. After lunch, tour the Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of the famous author of Out of Africa. Return to your hotel in the evening.

Day 3

OL Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, drive north to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for a full-day safari. Highlights include sightings of the Big Five, endangered species, and a special visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. Later, check in at the luxurious Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club, where you can enjoy views of Mount Kenya.

Day 4

Samburu Game Reserve

This morning, depart for the dramatic landscapes of Samburu National Reserve. After lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge, head out for an afternoon game drive. Samburu is known for unique species such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk (the “Samburu Special Five”).

Day 5

Full Day Samburu Game Reserve

Enjoy a full day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Between drives, relax at the lodge and soak in the wilderness views. The Ewaso Ng’iro River attracts abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, and crocodiles.

Day 6

Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After a morning game drive, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at Mara Serena Safari Lodge. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in this wildlife paradise.

Day 7

Full Day Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Spend the day exploring the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including the Big Five, and is home to the Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal).

Day 8

Amboseli National Park

Home to large herds of elephants

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, check in at Ol Tukai Lodge and enjoy lunch. Later, set out for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famed for its large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 9

Full Day Amboseli National Park

Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli. The park’s open plains provide excellent opportunities to view predators, grazers, and birdlife. Between game drives, relax at the lodge, which offers incredible vistas of Kilimanjaro.

Day 10

Transfer Nairobi, Departure

After a final morning game drive and breakfast, depart by road to Nairobi. Enjoy a farewell lunch in Nairobi before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight

Nairobi Serena Hotel

Situated in the heart of Nairobi, the extensive ground of Serena Hotel contains a fitness centre and spa. Guests can relax in a sun lounger beside the outdoor pool, which is surrounded by palm trees. The elegant and spacious rooms and suites are decorated with warm colours and wooden furniture. They are equipped with a TV, air-conditioning and a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is provided.

Nairobi Serena Hotel offers a fine-dining restaurant with a seasonal menu and extensive wine cellar. Guests can enjoy a variety of snack and drinks at the poolside bar, or a cocktail at the Aksum Bar.

Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club

Within the Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy, witness firsthand the rewilding of the critically endangered Mountain Bongo and visit the on-site Wildlife Rescue Center. From horseback safaris to forest trails, every moment invites you to reconnect, reflect, and help leave a legacy of conservation—wrapped in Fairmont’s iconic charm and quiet luxury.

There are so many things to do here, but the lovely animal orphanage, operated by the William Holden Wildlife Foundation, is a unique and thrilling feature of the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club that is not to be missed. Here wildlife foundlings are raised with great care, and many are quite tame—we have the opportunity to feed them by hand, pet them, and even hold some of them.

Samburu Sopa Lodge

Located inside the Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya, Samburu Sopa lodge is built atop high ground allowing panaromic views of the vastness of Samburu shrub land and the hills beyond. The lodge is built to reflect the architectural heritage of the local communities whose sons and daughters make up the majority of the work force at the lodge. Fifteen cottages, each with two bedrooms are built in an arch formation on either side of the public areas to surround the waterhole but leaving a wide gap to allow the animals free movement to the water.

All the public areas are spacious and offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant and reception are decorated with local artifacts and rich earth colours typical of the Samburu area. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool. Additional activities include a visit to a Samburu village, guided nature walks and bird watching.

Mara Serena Safari Lodge

The Mara Serena Safari Lodge has a beautiful hilltop location overlooking the rolling plains and woodlands of the Masai Mara, one of the world’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. The annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle takes place across these plains, and even outside of the migration season you can look forward to spectacular sightings.

You can spend your day on a game drive; enjoy a morning bird walk with the lodge’s resident naturalist, or visit a traditional Masai Manyatta (village). A great extra is a hot-air balloon safari where you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the wildlife below and then descend to a scenic champagne breakfast served in the middle of the bush. In the evening, you can enjoy tribal dancing displays, as well as wildlife and cultural talks.

Oltukai Lodge

With spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the golden plains, Ol Tukai Lodge is a charming, contemporary retreat situated within the pristine Amboseli National Park. Imbued with a quintessential African atmosphere and set amidst beautifully manicured lawns, the lodge’s luxury chalets offer uninterrupted views of the tranquil wilderness of the park or the snow-capped mountain in the distance. Beautifully appointed and inviting, the chalets boast private terraces where guests can make the most of their spectacular surroundings.

Delicious meals are served al fresco on the main veranda, where guests have the opportunity to spot game just metres away, while the stylish Elephant Bar offers a variety of refreshing cocktails. In between game drives, guests can relax in a comfortable sitting room and play board games or browse through the wildlife library or art gallery. A range of rejuvenating treatments is available in the beauty spa.
